About the Snatch Block
A conventional snatch block earns its 10,000 pound rating with metal cheeks, a sheave, a pin, and a latch. The ATN Snatch Block earns the same rating with none of them: no moving parts to seize with salt, no latch to fail under a misaligned load, and nothing hard swinging around the deck at head height.
At 2 ounces it weighs less than the shackle on most blocks, light enough to keep several aboard and to send aloft without a second thought.
Two sizes cover the common control lines: one for line up to 7/16", one for line up to 1/2".
