About the Privilege 465
Marc Lombard designed this twin-keel catamaran, produced by Privilege Catamarans (Jeantot Marine) in La Rochelle, France, between 1998 and 2004 in a run of an estimated 25 to 45 boats. Its solid fiberglass hull and fixed integral keels, rather than daggerboards, make for a rugged, low-maintenance structure that ages well under a refit-minded owner. That durability, plus a roomier interior than the earlier 435/445 models, explains why the 465 remains a sought-after bluewater cat.
