About the Outremer 5X
This offshore cruising catamaran came from Outremer Catamarans in Port-la-Nouvelle, France, with naval architecture credited to VPLP Design. Built between 2013 and 2022 in a run of roughly 25 to 55 boats, the 5X used daggerboards and light displacement to outperform typical charter cats upwind.
