The Corsair C 970, also sold as the Cruze 970, has been built by Corsair Marine since 2012 as a roughly 32-foot folding trimaran growing out of Ian Farrier's original fold-up ama innovations. Owners get a comfortable cockpit and solid interior volume for weekending or coastal passages, plus amas that fold up so the wide sailing beam still fits a standard slip or trailer. With an estimated 80 to 200 built, it is a relatively recent design with good parts and support for ongoing upkeep.
