About the Seawind 24 Aft
Built under license by Luger Industries in the United States from a Scott Jutson design out of Australia, the Seawind 24 gave trailer-sailors a twin-daggerboard catamaran they could rig and launch without a permanent berth. About 350 were produced between 1982 and 1990, and the model appeared in Luger's US sales catalogs into the late 1980s. Owners refitting one today are maintaining a licensed American-built version of an Australian Seawind design, worth keeping in mind when sourcing parts or history.
