About the Privilege 51
Jeantot Marine, later folded into Privilege Catamarans, built this 51-footer in 1994 to a Marc Lombard design featuring the marque's heavier composite construction and deep bridgedeck clearance for open-ocean conditions. With only about 14 built, it's distinct from the modern Privilege 510 that eventually took its place, and its solid build is a strong argument for keeping one in service. The roomy saloon and multiple cabins still make it a worthwhile boat to maintain for owners planning serious offshore passages.
