About the PDQ 34
Whitby, Ontario builder PDQ Yachts Inc. produced the PDQ 34 to a Ted Clements design, with twin centerboards and shoal draft for coastal and inland waterway cruising. Production ran only from 1988 to 1991, with an estimated 15 to 35 built, making surviving examples worth careful upkeep. The model didn't simply end: in 1991 it gained stern steps and carried on under a new name as the PDQ 36.
