About the Outremer 49
This French catamaran came from Outremer Yachting, designed by Barreau/Neuman and built for just two years, from 2010 to 2012, before the Outremer 51 replaced it in 2013. With an estimated 15 to 30 hulls out there, it's a rare example of Outremer's fast, seaworthy, ocean-crossing design philosophy.
