About the Contour 30 Aft
Contour Yachts of Canada began building this Cole Beadon-designed trimaran in 1992, and about 200 have been completed. A daggerboard hull configuration handles the upwind work, while the MkII version's retractable amas pull the sailing beam in from 23.83 feet to 8.5 feet, ideal for trailering or marina storage. That practical, space-saving trick is a big reason the fleet has stayed active and well supported for owners doing their own maintenance.
