About the Condor 40 Wings
Phil Herting and Condor Ltd began building the Condor 40 in 1985 to a Mick Price design, the same designer behind the smaller Condor 30. The trimaran's adjustable daggerboard lets draft range from 1.83 to 7.67 feet, balancing shoal-water access with upwind performance. About 22 were produced, a solid production run that means more of these performance trimarans remain around for a dedicated refit.
